BULLYING
Bullying has become a big concern these days. It means the
practice of teasing or underestimating someone in a very negative way that
affects the confidence and hurts the feelings of the victim. Mostly children
are bullies by their fellow classmates or other children. For example- if a
child is physically challenged. This is the biggest reason why a child is
bullied. Other children keep distance from that child, do not talk to him
properly and they tease him. Second example is when someone is not good at
studies or his understanding abilities are low. His classmates bully him by
saying, “Very bad! You got failed” or “You do not stand in front of us and do
not talk to us because you are a failure.” Even if the child beats everyone in
sports or dance or singing still he will be pressurized to focus only on
studies and will be threatened to leave all co-curricular activities if he does
not focus on studies. Another example is when some children have mental
problems. These children need the maximum support of all the people around
them. But many people, instead of helping them, bully them and refuse to even
sit with them. This makes them feel neglected and lonely. We should always help
people and never bully anyone by thinking that how will you feel if you are
being bullied.
