Mass destruction weapons- BOON or BANE

Mass destruction weapons were mainly used during the World War II where two atom bombs were thrown in the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan) by the United States of America. The nuclear bombs destroyed the cities completely and caused the death of lakhs of people. The effect of these bombs is still in the soil of Hiroshima and Nagasaki even after more than 70 years. What I feel is if the United States had not thrown those atom bombs, then maybe the war would not have ended and some countries would have completely vanished from the world map. Much more people would have died and millions of children would have become orphans. So, I think that it is not necessary to completely ban mass destruction weapons. The nations of the world need some weapons for national security and for the welfare of the world too. The biological and fully autonomous weapons must be completely banned as these weapons are just used by terrorists for harming people and no country would want an epidemic to spread or innocent people to die. Whereas there is no need to completely ban nuclear and chemical weapons as they can be of great assets for national security and during wars. It will be best if the number of weapons is minimal.

These weapons should be highly protected and must be handled by highly trained professionals. Everyone wants a peaceful and weapon free world but it is not possible as technology is developing and if the nations know where and when to use these weapons then I don’t think that there is a need to completely ban the mass destruction weapons. These weapons can be a plus point not a minus. Who knows when there could be a situation where there is a strong need for mass destruction weapons? The world should be prepared for everything and the mass destruction weapons should not be banned. There should be regular inspections to see that a nation is not exceeding the limit of manufacturing and use of such weapons. Every nation should have a manufacturing limit which should depend on the area and the allies of that particular country. The more the allies, the less the number of mass destruction weapons. The lethal autonomous weapons must be completely banned because they are simply machines and machines do not have brains. Also, these weapons might get hacked by terrorists and might kill innocent people. Therefore, the lethal autonomous weapons must be banned for the sake of humanity. The chemical and nuclear weapons might be helpful but autonomous weapons are not. Instead of harming the enemy, these weapons can harm their own country and can kill innocent people because these machines are brainless. At last, I would like to say that not all weapons should be banned as they can be of great use but some weapons which are mainly used by terrorists like biological weapons which can cause epidemics and lethal autonomous weapons which are just brainless should be banned as the world would be a better place without them and they cannot be used for national security. My opinion is that weapons can be put to good use if handled properly.

Importance of reading books

Importance of reading books Books are really important to us. The word BO OK itself stands for Big Ocean Of Knowledge. Books teach us everything. They give us knowledge and they are the reason behind. It is very true that ‘A book holds a house of gold.’ It can’t be compared to anything because it is priceless. Books don’t teach us the material in our syllabus only but they also help us to improve our vocabulary and writing skills. It’s not like that you will find books on only one topic; you can find books on any topic you want. You will get more appropriate content in books rather than on internet; and obviously it is better and recommended to read books instead of e-books. You get detailed and nicely explained content in books for better understanding. At some places, gadgets are not allowed but a sheet of paper or a book is allowed everywhere. Instead of having a collection of mobile phones and laptops, we all can have a collection of books. Remember one thing, ’You might leave ...

IMPORTANCE OF EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Extra-curricular activities are the activities which are not included or related to academics or exams. They are organized to help students make themselves stress-free and give them a small break from academics. They also enhance or take out our hidden talent. These activities are not just based on one field, but they are based on everything from singing to dancing, creative writing to calligraphy, drawing to debates and much more. Many students who were once toppers become failures because they never tried something different and were most of the time stressed. Extra-curricular activities give us a platform to show our talent. According to me, everyone should try everything and enjoy .-VANYA GUPTA

If I were the current education minister of India

Education has become really important in today's world. There must be time to time changes in it also to make it better. If I were the current education minister of India, first of all, I would abolish homework. Instead, I would give the students’ learning work because study is of no use if they forget it once they grow up. I would involve the students’ more in practical work rather than theory. I would give the order to each and every school to teach the students’ to write with both hands so that they can be multi-tasking.  I would just keep online classes thrice a week so that the students’ have lass strain on their eyes and the rest of the days, the students’ will learn what was being taught to them in the class. During these classes, Iwill make sure that the teachers are seeing every student and are having an interactive session.  I would make education compulsory for twelve years and would provide free education to the national students. I would also reduce the burden of ...
